You can buy organic Vetiver essential oil affordably from our wholesaler. This essential Vetiver oil is used as a fragrance in cosmetics. How is Vetiver essential oil made?
It is a tall, tufted, perennial, fragrant grass with long narrow leaves and an abundant complex network of underground white roots, mainly grown in the tropics such as India, Tahiti, Java, and Haiti.
The grass was used in Calcutta and Haiti for straw hats, sunshades, blinds, and parasols, while in Java the roots were used for weaving mats and straw huts, which not only gave the rooms a wonderful scent but also repelled insects.
It is a popular ingredient in soap, toiletries, and perfumes, and the cultivation of the grass helps prevent soil erosion.
Vetiver oil is also known as the 'oil of calm' because of its soothing properties.
