Vegetable oils in general
For the 10 most important oilseeds, larger harvests are expected in the period from October 2022 to September 2023. The yield is estimated to be more than 620 million tons. This forecast is based on normal weather conditions in the main growing areas.
Sunflower oil
The situation in Ukraine remains very uncertain, which also creates greater uncertainty about the expected harvest yields, especially regarding sunflower oil. A harvest area of 2 million hectares is expected. This will certainly lead to a significant reduction in yield (about 10 million tons). Additionally, the last harvest cannot be transported by sea due to blockades. On average, the global sunflower harvest will decrease by 6 million tons. However, prices for the new harvests have slightly decreased. But the processing capacity of producers must also be considered. Some producers are already fully booked for the upcoming fourth quarter. If you need sunflower oil, it is therefore wise to order in time.

Essential oils availability and prices
We expect to receive many new fresh harvests of various essential oils in the coming month. We anticipate the new prices for the third quarter very soon and will update them quickly.
Due to staffing issues at customs, it is unfortunately becoming more common that some oils are unavailable. We will respond to this even better and expect this to happen less and less in the future. This way, you can always count on us for your oil.
100 ml essential oil is back!
