Why is jojoba called a wax rather than an oil?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Chemically, jojoba consists of wax esters rather than the fats that make up plant oils. In practice, it behaves like an oil: it is liquid at room temperature and is processed in the same way. That is why, commercially, we simply refer to it as jojoba oil."}]}]}

What is the difference between organic and conventional jojoba?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Both are cold-pressed and pure. The difference lies in the certification: the organic one is SKAL-certified, while the conventional one is not. If you don't need that certification for your own product, the conventional one is a more affordable choice."}]}]}

Is colorless jojoba less pure because it is refined?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"No. Refining removes color and fragrance compounds, but the jojoba itself remains pure and unblended. You choose the colorless variant when your final product needs to be neutral in color and scent, not because one is better than the other."}]}]}

How long does jojoba oil stay good?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Due to its structure, jojoba is much less susceptible to oxidation than most vegetable oils and therefore remains good for a long time. The exact expiration date of your batch is stated on the certificate of analysis, which you can request for each product."}]}]}

Golden yellow, cold-pressed: with jojoba's natural color and light scent. Organic or conventional.
Colorless, organic: virtually odorless, for products in which your own color and scent take center stage.
Wax: hard pearls that give sticks, balms, and candles their firm shape.
Butter: soft and spreadable, for rich, nourishing products.

For every jojoba product, you will find the product specification, safety data sheet, and certificate of analysis (COA) for each batch in your customer account.
